RFID tagging

From NOW we will be adhering  the standard RFID tag to all items (Onkaparinga and SAPLN) that require a tag. The temporary tags will no longer be used.
From Thursday (tomorrow) we need to record the number of SAPLN items that we have tagged (for a week) to ascertain our consumption rate.
Please record each tagged SAPLN item (only) on the record sheet (on the clipboard in the CKI room). Albert

Year 12's

From now on, Year 12 students must show you their timetable if they come into the library to prove that they have a free. If they need to be in the library during a scheduled lesson, they must get a teacher note like everyone else.
Year 12’s are no longer allowed in whenever they feel like it. They must have a blank space on their timetable. If it is not blank, they require a note. * Please make sure you look at the correct time slot on their timetable to make sure it matches the lesson times.
This is how it currently works for year 11’s, now it applies to year 12s as well. This is a leadership decision and teachers have been made aware of this change. Please act on this immediately. Karla

changes

An OPAC has been returned to service, now located next to the sit-down OPAC near the community lounge...
and the public access computer reservation station has moved, closer to the public access computers (next to the graphic novels).

series boxes

You will notice in Children’s that there are boxes now for some series, this is a work in progress, and not all series will have a box. From now can you please reshelve all children’s books in the correct spot and not dump them on the trolley. I am attempting to interfile all the ones from the trolley onto the shelves! Angela
